Fiji Golf Club will host an 18-hole individual stableford golf tournament at Vatuwaqa on Saturday 14th April 2012.
The event is sponsored by Coca Cola Amatil (Fiji) Ltd.
The sponsors are offering a lot of major attractive prizes, which include three prizes for each of men’s three grades plus two for ladies’ categories and a price each for men’s best overall gross and professional grade winners. In addition, there will be minor prizes, including nearest-to-pin etc. up for grabs also.
A large number of participants; over one hundred golfers are expected to converge to Vatuwaqa to take part in the tournament.
The tee off is between 08.30 am and 1.30 pm. The golf course will be closed to non-participants of the tournament during the tee off period. However, social golfers will be allowed to tee off after 3.00 pm. They have to pay a normal competition fee at the bar or the office before been allowed to tee off.
A weather forecast for Saturday is expected to be a chance of rain in the morning and light rain and a possible thunder storm in the afternoon.
